RWBY (Season 5) is a Rooster Teeth animated show that was composited solely in After Effects.
My role in regards to RWBY (Season 5)’s production are as a Compositor.
As a Compositor, my job included getting Lighting renders put together according to the look template that our Look Development Artists set up beforehand. Then, mostly using AE Mocha’s tracking software, rotoscoping and in house tools, I would clean character shadows and cover clipping. After which, I would put in a multitude of Comp FX as the shots required.
